The real estate agent who brings the potential buyer to a seller (called the buyer’s agent) is typically compensated by a commission-based fee that the seller pays. Blades buyer’s agent fee returns a portion of this fee back to the buyer.
Learn About The Buyer’s Agent
When you want to buy a house, you typically search online for a house and once you find the house you are interested in, you contact (via online or phone) the agent who will show you the house, provide necessary information, and help complete the purchase. This is called the buyer’s agent.
By law, your buyer’s agent will have you sign an agreement entitling them to a percentage commission based upon the purchase price. This is often between 2%-3%.
Blades charges 2% and will return 10% of the fee back to the buyer. This means more money in the buyer’s pocket.
For example, if Blades receives a 2% fee as your buyer’s agent, Blades will give a 10% credit or $1,200 at closing.

“Powerful ally to have when house hunting. His experience helped tremendously with all the questions I had and never made me feel like he didn’t have time for me. He took his time with me and made me feel like he was there to help. Communication is key with me and Shawn was there every step of the way to our new home. I look forward to working with Shawn again in the future and highly recommend him for any home buyer/seller.”
“I would recommend Shawn to anyone that is in the process of home buying or real estate in general.”
“Shawn and his wife were a dynamic duo! I dealt with a very tough sale and purchase, and Shawn was super helpful and supportive every step of the way. Even when things popped up out of our control, Shawn was quick to resolve and make me feel at ease throughout the entire process. In this tough market, it helps a ton to have someone on your side and Shawn was definitely one of those people.”
